The purposes of this ensemble are to learn new and improved ringing techniques, and advanced handbell performance presentation. Admission to International Artists Carillon™ is by invitation and audition. Mark Andersen began playing handbells in 1956 on White Chapel bells in Lumberton.  He has been a clinician for Schulmerich Handbells, and is currently a clinician with Jeffers Handbell Supply, Inc., and currently teaching and recording on Malmark Cymbells. He is a published composer and arranger, and has conducted professional bell choirs in New York City, which have recorded for NBC.
